ELISA Pig-MAP

Detect problems of health and poor welfare in your animals with high sensitivity testing Pig-MAP. Acuvet ELISA pig-MAP is a pig specific, sensitive and reliable test to determine this biomarker using basic equipment (ELISA reader).

Do you want to determine the level of stress in pig? Do you want to have a quantitative indicator of animal welfare that is objective and easy to determine?
Do you want to know the degree of inflammation caused by vaccines or weaning?
Do you want to measure Pig-MAP with a sensitive and reliable method?

HOW DOES IT HELP YOU?

Pig-MAP is a sensitive and quantitative marker to assess the on-farm animal health and welfare. It can also be used to quantify inflammatory processes in your experimental trials, for example evaluation of vaccines, or nutraceutical products. The Acuvet ELISA pig-MAP is a reliable method that uses specific antibodies and standards for swine. With high sensitivity to quantify this biomarker not only in serum but in other matrices such as meat juice. It is calibrated according to the European Reference Serum for Porcine Acute Phase Proteins. This is very important when comparing your results with the main reference studies available in the scientific literature.
